Do you ever have a day when you ask yourself “is it all worth it, am I wasting my time, or did I not hear/understand clearly what that voice within was trying to tell me”? I had many of those days when I was called to start Serene Intentions.
Six years ago I had an inner calling to start a mindfulness and meditation business. In the midst of an already extremely busy life running two businesses; selling real estate and working full-time in the beauty shop while also trying to complete my ministry ordination, I tried to push it away. I tried to fight and push it away because six years ago mindfulness and meditation was a stretch for Lorain County. Mindfulness certainly was not the buzzword back then. But the inner calling was strong and continued to come through. My inner wisdom told me that I had to find a way to share my own personal growth and healing with others to help them heal in whatever way they needed to.
Over the years I have had great support from local businesses that provided me the opportunity to grow Serene Intentions. Without this continued support believing in what Serene Intentions is all about there is no way Serene Intentions would be what it is today. There were many times back then that I would show up for a public session and only one person or no one would attend. Some days I would ask myself is it all worth it, am I wasting my time, or did I not hear/understand clearly what that voice within was trying to tell me? But even in those moments something inside, an inner drive, continued to push and support me.
I want to personally thank you all for being part of what I do; for sharing your PRESENCE with me! I want to thank YOU for showing up for yourselves and all of us, because Serene Intentions would not be without all of YOU! I am so extremely grateful and honored to be a part of the collective connection of so many like-minded souls that I’ve seen come together over these last six years which has created a community of safety and personal growth. The personal transformations I’ve witnessed for so many warms my heart and soul and leaves me speechless. I thank you all for the continued dedication of this amazing life work you are doing as well as the others you help along your journey!
